It’s always been a big dream of mine to be able to share the power of copywriting with as many online entrepreneurs as possible. And that includes making the case that anyone can learn to write strong copy.
It’s time to debunk the BS notion that to be a good copywriter, you have to be a great storyteller or an English major.
Here’s the REALITY — copywriting is a skill that can be learned by anyone!
In this post, we’ll go over why copy is SO crucial to your business and how, if you learn to write it well, you’ll be able to increase your sales.
If you want to learn more about creating powerful, connection-driven copy for your business, then keep reading!
Want to feel more confident in the copy you write?
Being an entrepreneur takes so much skill and willingness to learn as you go.
Learning to write copy is no different.
Every entrepreneur has a passion for why they started their business. And if you ask me, this also means that all entrepreneurs have a message worth sharing.
My goal isn’t to teach you to become a copywriting professional. Instead, I’m on a mission to make copywriting accessible to all online entrepreneurs.
I want you to feel confident in the copy you write.
There is nothing worse than feeling unsure about a piece of content you are putting out. Whether it’s Instagram captions, sales emails, or your website copy — you deserve for the content you put out and create to be a direct reflection of YOU.
Especially as an entrepreneur, your copy needs to be an extension of yourself — and making sure your copy remains authentic to you and your brand will directly impact your ability to increase your sales.
How authentic copywriting can help increase your sales
By learning to write persuasive copy that is also genuine to who you are, you’ll find that you’re quickly able to leverage that into MORE sales and MORE clients.
That’s because authentic, service-led copy offers a deep connection point between you and your reader.
The better you understand your reader and make an intentional effort to make them feel understood and heard in your copy, the more likely they are to put their trust in you — and with that trust comes buying power, too.
Not to mention the fact that writing effective sales copy will also help you feel more confident in promoting your services. Which, you guessed it, naturally leads to more sales across all of your marketing efforts.
You may be starting off knowing absolutely nothing about copywriting, and that’s OKAY. Remember, everyone starts somewhere.
My own copywriting journey wasn’t linear; it was not something that clicked for me right away. While I knew I had a love for words and storytelling growing up, I didn’t know copywriting would be my future career.

Finding your turning point.
What I’ve realized is that so many people start their entrepreneurial journey because other jobs have left them feeling burnt out and discouraged. I’ve been there, and a particularly toxic work environment left me feeling jaded and beyond unfulfilled.
What was key for me during this time was to let that experience push me towards my passion. That experience not only pushed me into copywriting and gave me an outlet to express myself, but it also showed me all the important skills I could teach other entrepreneurs!
The most rewarding part of my journey has been the ability to connect with others and realign them with their passion and purpose through the power of words.
When I truly began to realize the lack of help and support for newer entrepreneurs when it came to copy, I was inspired to create The Copy Template Shop.
Being able to help others find their voice and use their story to increase their sales and build their business has been SO rewarding. I can’t wait to share more tips and strategies with you all — this is only the beginning!
